Tactile systems are available in a range of sections and carriers to suit the aesthetics and budgets of the project, from a basic pvc extrusion to an elegant hardwood spindle moulded carrier. We work with the interior designers and architects to produce the system which best suits the application.

The photoluminescent system utilises high-output photoluminescent technology for its light source. The system also incorporates tactile indicators which have a distinctive shape to indicate the location of the nearest fire exit and is located on walls at waist height so that children, wheel-chair users, the visually impaired and adults can reach it - a must for all escape route marking.

We also supply systems without the photoluminescent element. In these cases the sections usually incorporate way finding information, such as directions to rooms, departments etc. Or they can be used to emphasise areas in line with colour zone marking or simply use the space for decorative purposes.
